We are so excited to welcome you back into our studios for the 2021 November tour! We are working on our map and there will be 10 tour stops this year.
This year we have two emerging artists as part of our tour:
Luke Bauer, who is a wilderness instructor at the Rolling Ridge Wilderness School, will be at Head Spring Farm in Summit Point, stop #4. He will be showcasing and demonstrating his rustic basketry that he creates from foraged materials,
Also joining the tour as an emerging artist is Laurie Monsma, who will be at Anne Bower's stop #5. Laurie is a fiber artist and textile artist specializing in artistic quilts.
We look forward to having both of these young artists as part of our tour.
Two of our long-time members are taking a hiatus this year, Bruce Fransen, Wood Sculptor, and Sheila Brennen, Stained Glass. We hope to welcome them back next year.
We also say goodbye to several of our talented studio tour artists. We hope that our visitors continue to follow them on their next journeys. Barbara Acker, Gourds Artist; Fran Brolle, Sterling Silver Jewelry; Susan Schildmeyer, Freeform Knitwear; Treva Blackford, Bears; and Lisa Kovatch, Pottery. We thank them for lending their creative spirits to the past tours and wish them well going forward.
