Danielle Corsetto

Danielle Corsetto is a professional cartoonist who lives and works in Shepherdstown. She started her long-running webcomic Girls With Slingshots in 2004, which received a Reuben Award for Best Online Comic Strip in 2015. She briefly wrote & drew the Bat Boy comic strip for The Weekly World News, and has written three Adventure Time graphic novels for BOOM Studios. Danielle also dabbles in watercolor, caricature, figure drawing, and gouache, and teaches how to make comics to all ages & skill levels. She’s now working on a graphic novel called Elephant Town that takes place in Shepherdstown, which has led her to create numerous watercolor and marker studies of the town she calls home.
